Privacy At A Glance

Wirdak is designed with a privacy-first approach: no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no cloud sync for your worship progress in version 1.

Summary

Wirdak is designed to help users build consistency in Qur'an recitation, adhkar, du'a, and daily worship. The app is designed to respect privacy and minimize data collection.

  • The app does not require account creation or login.
  • The app does not sell user data.
  • The app does not use advertising SDKs.
  • The app does not use analytics tools.
  • The app does not track users across apps or websites.
  • The app does not sync worship or progress data to our servers.
  • Most user data stays stored locally on the device.

Information We Collect

Wirdak is designed not to collect personal data directly from users through accounts, forms, analytics, or advertising systems.

The app does not intentionally collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Precise location
  • Contacts
  • Photos
  • Payment information
  • Health information
  • Browsing activity across other apps or websites

Information Stored On Your Device

To provide core functionality, Wirdak stores certain app data locally on your device. This may include:

  • Reading position and last-read progress
  • Bookmarks and favorites
  • Selected translations and reader preferences
  • Theme and language preferences
  • Tasbih / subha counts and worship progress
  • Reminder settings

This information is stored locally on your device and is not synced to our servers at this time.

Notifications And Reminders

If you enable reminders, Wirdak may request permission to send local notifications on your device. These reminders are used only to support your worship routine.

Notification scheduling data is stored locally on your device. We do not use notifications for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Network Requests And Third-Party Content

Wirdak uses external Qur'an content services to provide some in-app features, including Qur'an text, translations, search, recitations, and audio playback.

For example, the current version uses Quran.com API services for certain Qur'an-related content.

When the app connects to third-party content services, technical information such as your IP address, device network details, and request metadata may be processed by those services as part of standard internet communication. This processing is controlled by those third-party services under their own policies.

Sharing And Copy Features

Wirdak may allow you to copy or share du'a or other app content using your device’s built-in sharing features. If you choose to share content, that action is initiated by you and handled by the apps or services you choose.

Analytics, Advertising, And Tracking

Wirdak does not currently:

  • Use analytics services
  • Display third-party ads
  • Use advertising identifiers for tracking
  • Track users across apps or websites
  • Collect data for data broker activity

Children's Privacy

Wirdak is intended for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention

Because most app data is stored locally on your device, that data generally remains on your device until you remove it, delete the app, or reset app data through device or app actions.

Data Security

We aim to keep the app simple and privacy-conscious. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Use

If you use the app outside your home country, network requests to third-party content services may be processed in other jurisdictions depending on those services.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. When we do, we will update the effective date above.
